Bone broth cleanse to rule them all Part 2 – Day 3-4 of my journey on Osso Good’s 7 Day Bone Broth Cleanse

Day 3

Like every Wednesday, Jones and I headed somewhere with animals. Accordingly, it was the Seattle Aquarium and word of the day is fish. As a result, I made a fish stew that didn’t disappoint. It was really flavorful and surprisingly heavy, but Osso Good Bone Broth packs enough protein to be a meal itself. Not on a paleo diet my got some bread to get his dip game on.

Recipes from the Day:

Brazilian Style Fish Stew

  • 2 lb. white fish fillet, no skin, cut into chunks;
  • 1 red/1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 onion, diced;
  • 1 can of coconut milk;
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp. cumin powder;
  • 1 tbsp. paprika;
  • 2 tsp. cayenne pepper;
  • 20 oz. of Osso Good Spicy Pork Bone Broth
  • 2 tbsp. coconut oil;
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Green Onion
  • Add Shrimp or other seafood to preference

First, in a bowl, combine the lime juice and olive oil; season to taste. Then add the fish and toss until well covered. Second, heat some coconut oil (about 1-2 tbsp.) in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Then, add the garlic, onion, and bell peppers and cook until soft. Third, pour in the Osso Good Spicy Pork Bone Broth and coconut milk and stir. Fourth, whisk in the cumin, paprika, and cayenne while bringing the soup to a boil. Then lower the heat to a simmer and add the fish to the broth. Lastly, cover the stew and cook until fish breaks apart, about 10 to 15 minutes. Top with green onion, lime, salt, pepper, and anything else that sounds tasty.
